How it works.

We’ve taken the proven 7-step process from Out of Court Divorce and tailored it for couples who are ready to move on — efficiently, fairly, and without going to court.

Step 1: Intake + Clarity

We start with a quick intake process to understand your situation. You’ll each fill out a confidential questionnaire. Once we’ve reviewed it, we’ll get clear on whether Over and Out is the right fit.

Step 2: Agreement to Work Together

Once you're both ready, you sign our Agreement to Work Together. This kicks off the process, locks in your flat fee, and confirms everyone’s on the same page.

Step 3: Information Gathering

We gather what we need — finances, parenting details, assets, debts. You’ll get simple templates to complete, and we’ll be here to help if you get stuck.

Step 4: Strategy Session

One of our legal professionals will meet with each of you (separately) to map out your goals, clarify your rights and responsibilities, and prep you for final decisions.

Step 5: Mediation or Negotiation (if needed)

If there’s anything you don’t fully agree on yet, we’ll help you resolve it through focused mediation. We keep it short, structured, and solution-oriented.

Step 6: Drafting the Agreement

We prepare your Separation Agreement — clear, legally binding, and customized to your situation. You’ll each get a chance to review and ask questions.

Step 7: Joint Divorce Filing

Once your agreement is signed, we draft and file all the joint divorce documents with the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench. No court appearances. No delays. Just done.
